Sometimes these are personalized based on specific actions you have taken or products and/or services you have purchased from us. - Objection: You can object to the processing of your personal data. If it concerns marketing, we will stop that processing as soon as possible.

Additionally, you can also:
- Withdraw consent: For example, for receiving mailings. If you want to withdraw consent for another processing, you can contact us at info@wae-engineering.nl.
- File a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (DPA): Do you think we are not acting in accordance with privacy legislation? Then, of course, we would like to hear about it. You can also file a complaint with the DPA.
How long do we keep your personal data?
Personal data should not be kept longer than necessary. The retention period depends on the purpose for which we have received or collected the data and any statutory obligations to retain data.
If you requested a quote from us but did not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than two years after our last contact. Also, if we received a quote from you, but we did not become your customer, your personal data will be deleted no later than two years after our last contact. If you did become a customer, or we became your customer, we will retain your personal data for seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. The seven-year period corresponds to the period within which we are required to retain our records for the Tax Authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.

As explained above, we process some data to comply with a legal obligation, some to perform an agreement, and most to pursue the legitimate interest of Water Adventure Engineering: to achieve our objectives.
